I've been so stressed over trying to downsize everything that I decided to order a few items I've been wanting and that don't take much room to store. I needed the heat n bond for applique since my package only has about 6" left. I always wanted to try the wash away embroidery stabilizer so added that to the order. I've caught the sashiko bug like many embroiderers so got some stencils, a book, and a white pen by Clover. I want to try some sashiko patterns for quilting. Lastly was the cat stitch markers. They've been in my "later" list for a while so I just decided to add them, too. The needles I ordered are supposed to come later today. Seems weird since these items already came in 1 box and 1 large envelope.
Thank goodness nothing was damaged because the box was a mess, all crumpled with the tape partly torn. Is this normal for Amazon? I probably only order there about once a year or so. The envelope was fine. Maybe the needles are coming by USPS? I've noticed that happens sometimes to orders the DH has made.
I've been tatting small wreaths that I add red ribbon to and hand out during Christmas. Just a little surprise for people.
I'm also trying to learn how to make a jasmine star stitch coaster. After getting interrupted way too many times while watching videos I've had to put it on hold. Between the DH and pets I just can't keep track of the pattern and keep ending up with a rectangle instead of a circle. Next time he take the dogs out for a long walk I'll try again. I have 3 crochet stitch books and none have this stitch. AND, yeah, I saw it on an old Kiko Sabi Video. Her videos are my watch and destress time.
