Thinking about shuttles again

I've been thinking about starting to sell things at my Etsy shop and at Ebay that have to be mailed. Right now all that's up at Etsy are PDFs of my patterns.

I have 2 plastic tubes with Halloween dolls and 1 with Christmas stuff I'd like to sell but I quite selling anything that resulted in me going to the post office last year once covid hit.

You may have noticed I also stopped selling tatting shuttles and that was because of covid, too. I'm thinking about selling them again. I love the large Tatsy shuttles for big projects and they are made in the US!!! Over the years I found Clover shuttles very popular so I'm looking for a wholesaler for their line. Another problem with this is that I'll have to open an account with a new distributor and that usually entails a $200 or more order and then I have to hope they'll still give me a good discount. In case you didn't know not all wholesalers give a 50% off discount even when they insist on large orders.

So it's all up in the air, just thought I'd write about it since a customer asked about my decorated shuttles.

More Decorated Shuttles and matching bags up at Etsy!

This is one of the shuttle/bag sets I've listed at my Etsy store today. This one is so cute with the sailor teddy bears. I've been saving that quilters quarter for a while but finally decided it was time to stop looking at it and use it.

This one is another fabric I had stored on my fabric shelves but this time it was because it never worked for any of my dolls. I think it looks great for the bag.

I love these fabrics so I've made others like this set but I used different color cats.

Finally for today is this set with stars.

Listing decorated tatting shuttles at Etsy and other news-

Here's a pic of the first of the decorated shuttles and bags I'll be listing at my Etsy store. Six will be Aerlit shuttles and 6 will be Moonlit shuttles. I'll get another 1or2 up tomorrow and the rest next week. Today is my wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday was yesterday so we're celebrating on the weekend. At least that's the plan. I think we'll be cutting grass.😏

I had a BAD surprise today when I pulled out the box that holds the pics I use for pattern covers. Most of them were stuck together!!!!! Guess when I watered the plants on the shelf above them (when????) I must have spilled water on the box. Every pic of the new mermaid is 'glued' together. That's about 30 pictures 😢 What a huge waste. I tried heat and water but nothing is working so now I have to order new ones. I think I'll take some new pictures for some of the patterns. I never was happy with the dragonfly riders pic.

I have the new legs done for the bird riders and yes they do stand! Now for a new cover pic and wouldn't you know it, the old ones where hardly damaged.

Halloween items up at Ebay and shuttles at Etsy

I'm listing Halloween decor at Ebay under the seller name creativestitches. The picture above shows a witch cat holding a metal cage with 2 birds inside. The cat and the others are half dolls. That means they are built on wood dowels and bases. They have no legs but with the base they stand.

Over at Etsy I put up aerlit tatting shuttles. I have some new colors.

If you are a fan of true pink then this is the shuttle for you.

Here's a new blue shuttle. Notice that the bobbins are the sky bobbins also used for the carribean sky shuttle and sold as packaged sets of bobbins. I seldom carry any of the color bobbins but I do can the pearl clear ones for the aerlits.

I've never listed any of my decorated shuttles at ebay before as auctions but I decided to try these 3. Go to ebay and search for seller creativestitches to find what I have for sale. I've never made a heart pocket bag before and probably won't again.

New Decorated Shuttles and Matching Bags at Etsy Store

Just wanted to do a quick post to let you know that I've been listing Moonlit and Starlit shuttles I've decorated, some with matching bags, at my Etsy store.The pic above is one of them. Almost forgot... a new shuttle and more at Etsy store

I just put this shuttle and lanyard set up at Etsy yesterday. It's been a while since I listed a decorated shuttle. This one has stickers that look like tatting! I plan on making more like this but with different colors of backgrounds. I just bought a dozen new blank shuttles so I'll be working on decorating them.

This is a photo of new tatting gauges and lanyards I also listed at Etsy. I also have new ones with wriststraps, too. Monday I listed new tatting shuttles. I've been out for  a while so if you need Aero, Aerlit, or Monnlit shuttles have a look at my Etsy store. Best thing about ordering from me is that I keep the shipping cost as low as I can.
